Juan Bautista de Anza Visitor Center,
Martinez, CA

Opened in 2010, this 560 square foot visitor center features exhibits that tell the story of settlers who traveled from Mexico to settle San Francisco. The exhibit highlights the multiple voices and perspectives including soldiers, settlers, and Native Americans. CB Services, LLC provided research, interpretive planning, label writing and asset management. The exhibit successfully balances the needs of first time visitors with the expectations of the surviving descendants and members of American Indian communities.
