Fredericksburg Area Museum and Cultural Center

The Fredericksburg Area Museum and Cultural Center Board of Trustees and Executive Director sought to develop an institutional plan that addressed immediate needs of staffing and resource management in anticipation of completing a building expansion as well as lay ground work for being more responsive to the needs of its diverse and growing community.

I thoroughly enjoyed working with this forward-thinking organization to clarify the museum’s vision, strengths, opportunities and challenges and facilitating workshops with community organizations to understand how the museum was perceived by their various constituencies. The resulting five-year plan identified qualitative and quantitative measures of success as well as recommendations made by retail and human resource sub-consultants.
